We're so excited to celebrate the magnificent Monarch Butterflies with you and your family!
This year we are releasing 1,000 Monarch Butterflies into the wild and interacting with them first-hand! The event is split into three, one and a half hour sessions. Each session has the same activities. Please arrive on time to your registered session. If you arrive for a different session, we will not be able to accommodate you.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our staff just beyond the front the gate. Staff will ask for the name on your registration, give you a pass you will use to redeem your 4 butterflies for individual release on-site, and direct you where to park. Once parked, you and your family are free to enjoy the festivities in any order you would like! We recommend bringing a water bottle and wearing shoes you can get dirty since the entire event is outdoors.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event. Please be aware, dogs are not allowed at the Nature Center.
Parking is on site at the Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve (355 E. Bob Jones Rd)
Registration is by car. Each registration includes 1 parking space, 4 butterflies for release, and access to all event activities (crafts, games, butterfly house, and more). All ages welcome!
Session 1: 8:30am - 10:00am
Session 2: 10:30am - 12:00pm
Session 3: 12:30pm - 2:00pm
