Seeing my kids face when they open up presents every year from jolly Saint Nick is amazing. We share with them that not only was there a real Saint Nicolas who gave gifts to kids every year, but that his spirit lives with us every year. This year was no different. We asked them to tell us their wish lists for gifts and we would pass it on to Santa. However, they didn’t know they would be getting a video and phone calls personalized from Santa.
Insert Portable North Pole.
Portable North Pole (PNP) offers personalized Video messages and calls as well as gifts and toys. Setting up the video was a bit tricky because the kids were running around the house and I didn’t want them to see what I was doing. Finding pictures of the kids that could be used for the videos was probably the most difficult part of the process.
Setting up the video, you can personalize it for each kid. It took a bit of time to insert all the information in the video, but it was worth it. After the video was finalized by the elves at Santa’s workshop, I showed it to my oldest son, Ethan. Seeing his reaction to the video was enough for me. He thoroughly enjoyed getting a personalized video from Santa and his elves fixing up the sleigh.
PNP offers different package levels depending on how much you want to spend. I was fortunate enough to get a Magic Pass to create the personal videos and calls. For the phone calls, I downloaded their app, free from the App Store and set it up. It was super easy to do and would recommend it to anyone.
I scheduled the call for one of my kids, Ethan for a Christmas Eve. However, my excitement got the best of me and rescheduled so my wife could hear the call before she left for work. With smiles on his face, my youngest son cried. Yes, cried. He wanted to get a call from Santa too. Well with the PNP app, it was easy. I simply paid $4.99, insert his information into the app and a few minutes later, Owen got his call from Santa.
Creating personalized videos and phone calls for your kids (and adults) in your family was easy to do with Portable North Pole. I would recommend it for anyone with small kids who believe. My kids enjoyed the videos and the phone calls. Their behaviors changed once they knew that Santa knew where they lived and that he was coming to see them. The online video creation took some time, but the app was easy to use.
